Gluten-Free Overnight Baked Apple French Toast

Ingredients

  • 5 cups bread cubed
  • 2 apples finely chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • 4 Tablespoons sugar
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 eggs
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 4 Tablespoons of brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Add bread to your slow cooker. 

  2. In a sauté pan, cook apples, butter and sugar with cinnamon for about 5 minutes. Pour mixture over bread in the slow cooker.

  3. In a bowl or large measuring cup whisk milk, eggs, cinnamon, vanilla and brown sugar. Pour over bread and apple mixture. 

  4. Cover and cook on low for 7 to 8 hours.
